Spotlight on South Willamette Valley.

This month we are featuring wines from the South Willamette Valley—Eugene and surrounding areas.

From urban wineries located in downtown Eugene to rural wineries with lush rolling hills, the South Willamette Valley has a little bit of everything. And straddling the Southern Oregon wine region and the Willamette Valley wine region means that they produce a little bit of everything too!

Our first red is an elegant Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre blend from Iris Vineyards in the hills outside of Eugene. Our second red is a lush Syrah from Latinx winemaker J.P. Valot of Valcan Cellars in Corvallis.

Our first white is a beautifully balanced Sauvignon Blanc from the Eugene urban winery Capitello Wines. Our second white is a classic Pinot Gris from one of the regions oldest wineries, Silvan Ridge.
